About the Fund
The West Midlands Integrated Transport Authority (ITA) Pension Fund
Wolverhampton City Council is responsible for the administration of the West Midlands Integrated Transport Authority (ITA) Pension Fund.
This Fund is run completely independently of the West Midlands Metropolitan Authorities Pension Fund and has its own accounts, membership, literature (where relevant) and identity.
Although employees who are in the West Midlands Integrated Transport Authority (ITA) Pension Fund are still subject to the rules and regulations of the Local Government Pension Scheme, no new members are admitted to the Fund. As such the West Midlands Integrated Transport Authority (ITA) Pension Fund is regarded as a "closed fund", nevertheless the West Midlands Integrated Transport Authority (ITA) Pension Fund regards communication with its members, both past and present, as a vital issue.
