As of 1 April 2015 the West Midlands Pension Fund will no longer issue paper benefit statements.
The web portal is where you will view your benefit statements from 2015 and you will be notified when your statement is available to view. Due to these changes, if you have not already registered we recommend that you visit our Web Portal page to find out more and access help videos. If, for any reason, you do not wish for us to communicate with you electronically, you must request paper communication from the Fund in writing.
Following the Independent Public Services Pensions Committee report in 2011, the Public Service Pensions Act 2013 brought about a significant number of changes to local government pension schemes and how they are to be administered.
Having to take effect from 1 April 2015, the Governance Reform Working Party section of the website updates on how the West Midlands Pension Fund is approaching these changes.
