Active Member Engagement Forum

This year’s Active Member Engagement Forum saw Fund officers meet with several of our Active members to discuss progress made by the Fund from last year’s event, such as the improvements to the Active Member newsletter, the improvement to customer servicing times, and a reduction in processing times.
In addition, we looked at ways we can continue to develop and improve our services to all our members, and it was put forward that we continue to predominantly provide face to face support to our members where possible, as well as continue to provide digital support.

Our attendees suggested a retirement journey roadmap could be developed and shared with members to help with retirement planning and to help members understand what they need to do and consider before they retire.

Members really value the opportunity to book individual consultations with Fund officers and highlighted the need of integrity and honesty when communicating with them.

The Fund will continue to work on the feedback given by you to improve its services to members, and will hold the next Active Member Engagement Forum in 2026.

Deferred Member Engagement Forum

In February 2025 we hosted our Deferred Member Engagement Forum.  This forum provided a valuable opportunity to members to feedback on the services we offer and explored ways to enhance their experience.  These events have proved beneficial in improving our services, and we look forward to inviting more of you to contribute to this!

This year’s Deferred Member Engagement Forum took place on the 26th February and saw Fund officers meet digitally with a number of our Deferred members to discuss progress made by the Fund from last year’s event, such as the improvements to the Deferred Member newsletter, the new facility to run deferred retirement estimates online, and implementation of Pension Portal sessions delivered in local communities. The Fund will continue to work on the feedback given by members to improve its services and will hold the next Deferred Engagement Forum February 2026.
