Pension Dashboard – coming soon!

The Department for Work and Pensions is developing a new Pension Dashboard, in conjunction with the Money and Pensions Service. This free, secure online platform will allow you to view your key pension information from various pension providers in one place, making it easier for you to trace and keep up to date with all of your pension provisions, including your state pension.

This new and exciting initiative aims to provide members who aren’t in receipt of pensions with clear and simple retirement information of all your pension pots which will support you with your retirement planning.

When will the new Dashboard go live?

Public sector pension schemes like the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) are working to connect by 31 October 2025. We are awaiting confirmation from the Government for when Dashboards will be available for the public (including all our members) to use. We expect to be advised six months in advance of this date and will let you know when this innovative industry-wide service is available for use.

Do I need to do anything?

The Pension Dashboard is currently in development, and, as of yet the Dashboard isn’t available for the public to use. In the meantime, please make sure the personal details we hold for you are up to date and accurate, as the dashboard will use this data to match with all of your pension providers. Please log on or register on the Pension Portal to check and update your details www.wmpfonline.com/pension-portal.

How do I track any previous pension benefits before the dashboard is implemented?

Ahead of the new Government initiative of the Pension Dashboard, you can visit Find pension contact details - Find pension contact details - GOV.UK to locate your pension pots across multiple schemes you have saved into.
